I just want to send out a thank you for embracing my talents in your showcase. I found it to be a remarkable experience. The songs I performed were debuted at your show and much to my delight were greeted with great enthusiasm. I would like to send out special thanks to Jason Feinberg, Mark Wolfson, Neil Citron, Steven Lowy, Satu Divine, Jen Vega and Annalisa San Juan for taking the time to share your expertise with artists such as myself and provide incite on the music industry. The experience will be one to never be forgotten. I will be following up on all the leads and contacts I made through this endeavor. At this time I may not have the name of Luther Vandross, Usher or Berry White but I do have the talent. Until our paths cross again and they will, keep encouraging and helping artists to reach for the stars beyond their wildest dreams.

My name is Josian Colon, and I just wanted to take the opportunity to express my gratitude and appreciation for this years NY International Music Fest. This past week has been the most productive, and inspirational event of my young music career. Thanks to your festival I has the opportunity to meet and greet many personalities in the music industry who have given me great advice and inspirational guidance to pursue my dream, my only desire in life to be a performer. With opening night at the world famous Madison Square Garden I not only had the opportunity to showcase my talent, but to also witness the talent of others who share the same desire. Other venues in NYC also provided a step stool of confidence to perform in front of all audiences. Music IS International and is widely accepted by all audience types, and the way the festival was arranged to deliver great performances at different venues was amazingly pleasing and effective. I am proud and honored to say that I was apart of the 1st Annual NY International Music Fest. This event truly epitomizes the meaning of international talent, and effectively allows ALL artists old and new to grow not only as a performer, but as a human being.

Saturday April 5th, 2003 will forever be embedded in my heart, for it’s the night many fellow artists, and diverse listeners approached me to recognize my talent, and to truly encourage my efforts to continue to shock the music world. The China Club was a venue I had always dreamed of performing at, and this past weekend that dream was realized and widely accepted. I spent the night signing autographs, and giving out CD’s to accepting fans, as well as receiving the invitation of possibly performing again at the China Club for a full set performance in their main dance room.

Thanks !!!I’d like to personally thank Frankie Munoz for his words of wisdom, inspiration, and positive guidance. Thanks you Frankie for believing in me and my talent, and giving me the opportunity to showcase it to the world. Your living success inspires me to continue forward in pursuing my dreams, and accomplishing my goals. Your efforts and hard work with the festival have truly paid off, and accomplished its goal to inspire, educate, and promote great new talent. Thank you soo much for the opportunity to explore, experience, and produce results. Meeting you has made me a stronger performer.

Thanks to all of you, I now have new friends, a new spirit, and a re-lived confidence to keep writing, singing, dancing, and shocking the world.

We want to thank you for the opportunity and the treatment we received from you guys while we were in New York. I specially want to thank my manger Leslie Rovero who has given us the opportunity to go to the New York Music Fest and believing in us. With the contacts we made there we are hopeful that all of us will get a record deal but at most we would be happy if at least one of us gets a deal. We have been truly blessed having someone like Ms. Rovero come though Pensacola and acknowledge the talent here. But we loved Bea and Shorty!!!you guys are the bomb.

A letter of gratitude to the New York Music Festival

I am very happy that I have been participating in this great International Music Festival. And it’s true that this Music Festival is the biggest joy in my life and the best thing that has ever happened to me. I was impressed with a diverse range of universal talent. I was listening to singers in such different genres as jazz, rock, gospel, R&B and, of course pop.

Members of the music and film industry came here to look for a fresh talent. I have met a lot of talented people: great singers, managers, producers, Record Labels representatives. They have come from all over the United States and other countries.

The festival started at Madison Garden on April 2nnd and was continuing at the best night clubs in the Manhattan area such as CBGB’S, BB Kings, Le Bar Bat, Discotheque, China Club, Acme Underground. Everything was so great organized! Every singer had his own performance time and his name was listed in the performance schedule that was very tight. I enjoyed every minute I was spending at this wonderful Music Festival.

I would like to thank Frankie Munoz (Director of Operations), Stuart Alson (Executive Director/Founder), Shorty Brown (face for MTV in Australia), Bea Montgomery (Talent Producer/Director), Steve Zuckerman (Seminar Coordinator), and others creating such an incredible event that I’ll never be able to forget.

As you may remember I represent Anthony Rodriguez, and we had the tremendous opportunity to participate in the NY Music Festival. We want to thank you for opening your doors to us and allowing us to have the amazing opportunity to grace the best and most prestigious stages in New York City. The NY Music Festival is definitely a wonderful opportunity for upcoming and semi-professional artists to gain exposure to the music industry and attract a new audience. Performing in places such as BB Kings, CBGB's, Le Bar Bat, China Club are dreams of many artists but the festival made these dreams come true. Anthony Rodriguez has had the opportunity to dance and choreograph with and for many famous artists such as Madonna, Prince, Tito Puente, Marc Anthony, Cyndi Lauper and many more. However, for him to have the opportunity to sing the songs he wrote and dance to his choreography on some of the world's most famous stages was an absolute blessing.

Not only, did we get to perform but we had the best MC introducing us Ms.Shorty Brown with her energized intro's and great personality it hyped him up for his performance. I also want to Thank the festival producer Frank Munoz, you have inspired me and added fuel to my fire. My eyes are open, my brain is focused, and my heart is led by passion thanks to your words and your success with this festival. All you have to do is call, I am happy to help you add to your success. Bea Montgomery, you were so positive and professional. You did everything to help accommodate our needs and ran a great ship. To the rest of the team you guys were awesome, you had everything together and made things so much easier.

This festival exposed us to a variety of people in the industry from A&R people from major labels to Lawyers and booking agents. This is not an easy feat to accomplish by yourself but because of the festival we got to meet and perform for these people. We look forward to being a part of the festival in Las Vegas. We will keep you posted on our success.

I just want to say thank you for a great experience. It was truly uplifting to see so many musicians who share my passion for music. I'm sure Las Vegas will be a blast as well. Thanks to Bea, Shorty, and all the other people who were there, encouraging adn helping us to do our best on and off stage.
